This morning, the webmaster presented the official logo of the EM 28 Song Contest on the Facebook Page here. It seems that this edition the name of the participants are revealed from the moment they submit while the song will be revealed on a special day. Also, EM 28 will be hosted in Tampere, Finland – the second largest city in Finland.
Today during a special radio show the EM25 songs were revealed. Everyone seems to have great expectations for the EM 25 Final and the Semifinals will be quite difficult. We have amazingly good songs this edition and we will surely lose great songs in the semis.
You can listen to all the entries here. Also the voting for the Semifinals started today and some participants already sent their votes (this could be a good or a bad thing in different ways). The participants can vote until January 8th.
Only 10 countries will qualify from each semifinal while countries that got the 11th and 12th place will fight in the Second Chance Round.

You can still submit until today 00:00. For those who didn’t sent their entry please do it today! All the songs will be examined by our ‘Fairness Committee’ and in case a song or an artist is not allowed to take part the broadcaster may change them. (it’s recommended to have a reserve).
We bet that everyone is interested about the EM 25 Participants…some of you are wondering if we have artists that made a comeback…well we sure have! On the EM 25 list we can find artists that already won at least one EM edition and they are hitting for the trophy again. We also find many artists that took part at EM several times and went back home with good results and now they want the big trophy.
For now we have 34 countries on the list but you can still submit and try your luck. Submission Period ends on December 31 so make sure you apply on time.

TV2 – The Norwegian broadcaster confirmed today that they city which will hold the next EM edition will be Tromsø, situated in the North of Norway. Tromsø is a city and municipality in Troms county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Tromsø.Tromsø city is the ninth largest urban area in Norway by population, and the seventh largest city in Norway by population. It is the largest city and the largest urban area in Northern Norway, and the second largest city and urban area north of the Arctic Circle in Sápmi (following Murmansk). Most of Tromsø, including the city centre, is located on the small island of Tromsøya in the county of Troms, 350 kilometres (217 mi) north of the Arctic Circle.
Substantial parts of the urban area are also situated on the mainland to the east, and on parts of Kvaløya – a large island to the west. Tromsøya is connected to the mainland by the Tromsø Bridge and the Tromsøysund Tunnel, and to the island of Kvaløya by the Sandnessund Bridge. The city is warmer than most other places located on the same latitude, due to the warming effect of the Gulf Stream.
The city centre of Tromsø contains the highest number of old wooden houses in Northern Norway, the oldest house dating from 1789. The Arctic Cathedral, a modern church from 1965, is probably the most famous landmark in Tromsø. The city is a cultural centre for its region, several festivals taking place in the summer. Some of Norways most known musicians, Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge of the electronica duo Röyksopp, both grew up and started their careers in Tromsø.
